I was just on the computer for like 30min. Not that long. and i realized that after i got off.. the room was REALLY dark (no lights were on except the computer) Then after a while of being in the dark. my eyes became adjusted to the darkness. After a while i turned on my phone and the light that came from my phone was BRIGHT!!! and it shocked me... Then i went back onto the computer and then turned it(the computer) off. i tried to use my light to walk through the darkness. but the light seemed to not shine as bright as it did after my eyes became adjusted to the dark.. so i waited for my eyes to adjust and then the light became brighter.
ReplyDeleteThis made me think... When i step into sin (darkness) at first its exciting all dark and i cant see anything. Then i start getting used to all the sin in my life. U know? like the sin was OK.. and not so bad because i was used to it. (like my eyes became adjusted).
And then when the light was turned on AFTER my eyes adjusted... it hit me hard. and i realized i wanted to see things for how they were. not it the dark.. (sometimes its different for other people. they want to rebel against the light and keep the light shut off)
Then i started wondering.. i wonder why the light wasn't as bright as it was when my eyes were adjusted to when they weren't.
Then i realized that it was probably because.. when im in sin.. im trying to play the game. My eyes are trying to adjust to the darkness.. they are too busy on adjusting to the darkness they can't start working on seeing the light.
Like jesus said “you either love me or hate me…. There is no middle ground.”
hey mrs.angie i loved todays video part from the passion of the Christ that we did. It just showed me how much i complain, and i was thinking how i would complain for the most littlest thing... and luckily i can go to chapel and figure out those problems that i can have. While in the movie he didnt complain or even get mad at the people who were spitting in his face. i just pray that i wont complain as much. thanx :)

Today in chapel we watched the movie passion of the Christ... It's sad and true....everyone treated him like dirt...they humiliated him and spit in his face and he still chose to forgive them....as Jesus was beaten and crucified on the cross he still loved even those who mocked him and hated him.....through every thing he went through he wad thinking of YOU the whole time...

When I was watching the Passion I was felt that sense of "How could they set babrus free a murder and crucify the Lamb Of God". I also relized that God did way more for our lives than I thought and I became emotional over the fact that he came to die for us!!!! Not just for Christians.
