What are the things God has asked you to do, that you are going to hit the restart button on this year? In addition, I would love to hear about your other resolutions that you have made, even the ones which may not have spiritual implications.
I have really felt that God wants me to spend more time with him on a daily bases. I have also felt that i need to check what relationships i should be in and which ones i should not. Now for my other resolutions...... you will all laugh but, but hopefully by sumer i will have a six pack!!!!!!! hahahah i hope!!!
My new year resolution is so get off the sideline! I feel that God has told me to stop hearing about all the crap that goes on in the school and not doing anything about it. I'm not say I'm supper good and churchy but I am saying that I know God wants me to stop participating in the drama and start living a life that says I live for a higher purpose than the life that has a weekly "she said this" and "he did that." I know God wants me to step up and be a leader. In my mind that last sentence is impossible because I usually don't like to step up, but I know with God I can push farter than what I think I can push. On another note my other resolution is to get better at doing homework at a better time.
I feel that God has been talking to me about spending more time with him like doing devotions every day well more like reading a verse and praying with him and getting to know him more. The next thing is sharing with people about him more like just saying God loves you or something simple like what has God been doing in your life lately? Just little thIngs like that can change someones day. So that is really what God has been talking to me about.
I also feel that we need to stop listening to all the crap like Ashley said we need to be our selfs we can let the world form us into who we are we have to stop listening to all he gossip and all the sin that goes around in this world we have to start living how God wants us to be we also are here for a pourpose and it is dfinatly NOT FOR US!!!!
My new years resolution is to limit my video games and use that time to focus and really understand his word and share and do a lot more christian service for myself only
I feel God saying it is time to let go of the things of this world as in material things and let him take control this year and be more an attentive listener and when he says to do it do it, no matter what.
I am also going to use my idle time surfing the internet and spend it with God and open my bible to see what he has in store for me to learn.
Tonight I read Ephisians chapter 3 and it is talking about how we are part if the body of Christ and what I looked up on my iPod bible was boldness because we need boldness to stand put we need boldness to stand for Christ if you don't have boldness or faith how are you going to tell people about Jesus. One of the thIngs I want to be is a missionary but if I don't have the faith and boldness to tell one non saved person that God loves them how am inever goin to accomplish going around the world and sharing Gods word with millions of people who I don't even know! So imam really tryin to get strong and bold!!!!
I also read Ephisians 4:27 which says and niether shall I give place to the devil so this little verse says so much to me like jason Castro said there is always something bigger behind what you say or do. This verse means so many thing think about it and neither shall I give place to the devil so when we fill our minds with things of his world there is a little part for the devil and you say oh I won't listen it it again or watch it again just right now for one minute but then it grows bigger and it is like a addiction and it is more of this world more of the devil tempting us!!!! So we must always turn to God in time of temptation or just advice!!!!! He will never leave you he will always be there fir you!!!
God is helping me growing every day and Mrs.Angie is defiantly right when she said that when we are reading in the bible we go yikes I need to work on this and it definatly makes you grow and helps you in just in your every day you can remember what you read.

My New Year resolution is to announce that God is here for anybody who is in need of healing, knowing God, and speaking with God. In my opinion, when people say that they just want to spend more time with God, their just taking tiny steps itno what God wants from all of us. God sent Jesus to go throw the motions to save are souls from darkness that would have made us hurt in so many ways. We christians should be talking with God...yes, but what Jesus did for us, we should tell EVERYBODY that there is a way out of where the world is going to go. christians just shouldn't tell people that already heard about God, they should go to a complete stranger and say, "Do you know about God and what he has done for the world and myself...it AMAZIND!" That's how the world is going to find out about Jesus. Just like you said that women loved God, got burned and still she isn't afraid to say she believes in God. That is whant I want to achieve by the end of 2011!!
I am doing this blog on what I learned at church we talked about leaving a legacy when you die what do you want people to remember you by? What do you want them to say you want to be remember good like sweet loving but if there is one thing I want to remembered by I would want them to say a Christian but just thinking about that and talking to God really has motivated me to fulfill that goal.
This post i am doing on a devotion I read about faithfulness and I really felt God wanted me to read and I read it for a reason because I am trying to work on my faithfulness and boldness and it just really helped me and God Is really helping me though this!
This chapel was really good and I think that it has really helped my relationship with God. I think everything Adam was saying could relate to me it relates to every one we all want things of this world that we can not resist with out God because in times of trouble we must always turn to God he will help you with anything your going through. But say oh you don't know how bad I have it but God does and can help you!!!!! Really good Adam thanks!

The devotion I read was on when Every thing falls we can stand and their is a song that natalie grant sings and part of it goes " the promise was every thing fell we be held" and it goes it goes on to say this is how it feels to be loved. I really love this song because I defiantly speaks to me that when everthing falls when this world falls we will be held with Gods love and I can't even get over what he went threw and how much he loves us and what he did I can't even think of words to thank him for what he did. And how he stood up when he fell down he was thinking of us he loves us us more than we can imagine.
Just yesterday I started a new commitment that I really need hp to keep. The commitment I made was that every day I will match the amount of time I watch tv with the amount of time I spend with God. So for example if I watch 30 minutes of tv I have to spend 30 minutes reading my Bible or even journaling. The reason this is really challenging for me is because A lot of times I know I should read my Bible and spend time with God but instead I watch tv or read. So now I am going to be doing this every day.
Today in chapel we watched the rest of passion of the Christ and what they did to Jesus an he still loved them...... They laughed at him and beat him, and he still forgave them.... He knew that he was here on earth to die for our sins and to forgive everyones sins him and he still did it.....he had to de on the cross for our sins to be forgiven....to start a whole new relationship with God....
The chapel for me was very good and hard for me to watch i can not even think about how bad it really was just thinking while i was watching that he is doing this for me he is thinking of me he is suffering for me he did this for me God did that all for us when he got up he was thinking about us he was thinking o this is for her this is for this mistake she made. thinking of that is amazing!!! it is incredible to think of how much God loves us just think of that for a second how much do you think he loves you? and if you dont know he loves you more than words can describe. another thing running through me head was when they were nailing his hands and beating him I looked away but that second i thought how dare you look away when he is up there suffering and dying for you how dare you look away when he went through pretty much hell on earth how dare i look away when me loving savior is dying for my sins and how dare i look away when he loved me so much that he was willing to GET BACK UP FOR MY SIN!!!!!!! I really want to get close to God and be more on the blog so i need to make time and if you dont see me on here for a wile can you please just remind me because i need to be held accountable.

Today in chapel Mrs.Angie talked to us about the path that we take in order to get closer to god but on the way there are distractions that distract us or lead us off the path. Wether it is what we think others will say about us or whatever it is, we can't let those distractions lead us down the wrong path.Those distractions are what make us further from god.Mrs.Angie also mentioned people in the bible that had a purpose to fulfill but they also let other things jump in their path and distract them. The key word is temptation because temptation is what messes with us and does that to us.
On Tuesday Lauren talked about music and how we use the excuse "it's only the beat of the music" but it really isn't..... And she asked the question " would Jesus listen to the music with you.... It's hard to say No when we know it's the truth sometimes..... and we watched a video on the voice of the Martyr's, they had the courage to stand for what they believe in.....
This Thursday mrs. Angie gave us an assignment that we would pick to help others and show god's love, and I am really excited to start that.....
I feel that God is telling me to stop tolerating things that other people do that I know is wrong and do some thing about it. if I do everything in my power through God's help and still fail i will be free of responsibility of that person's demise.
Tonight i was reading Esther. she never wanted to be queen but God had designed her to fulfill the plan of ratting out Haman. for a while she stalled but eventually she opened up and told the King that Haman was going to kill all jews
This Thursday in chapel Marielle mentioned something about a being a thermometer or a thermostat..... We need to be the one to change what's around us not to be changed by others of the world..... We need to be the thermostat to change others around us...... She also talked about patience cause' everybody Will need patience at some point.....

It seems that greed (like the type of greed that is wanting what other people have.) has been something I need to work on, and in my scriptures I read and Meditated on Psalms 37:4 and it says to delight in the Lord and he will give you what your heart desires.
IF Christ Isn't Real... 1) Faith in Jesus is Absolutely Worthless 2) The New Testament is written by liars and filled with lies 3) Heaven is a Myth 4) Christians are Pitiful Fools 5) Personal sacrifice is Stupid
But... Because He Has Risen 1) Our Past is Forgiven 2) Our Future is Secure 3) Our Present is Filled With Meaning
